Fall 2015
  • Raised over $10,000 for Bosana Foundation
  • Collected over 225 Blankets/raised over $700!

Spring 2016
  • Conducted Disaster Relief trip to Rowlett/Dallas Texas, where homes were destroyed from severe tornadoe
  • Held Charity Book Drive as a part of local Knowledge for Life Campaign, collecting over 360 Books for local organization, Book Spring, that provides books to children 
  • Prepared soup for the homeless on campus and then distributed to over 75 individuals
  • Co-hosted Charity Dodgeball Tournament with Circle K International benefiting the Eliminate Project targeting Maternal Neonatal Tetanus (MNT)
  • Prepared hygiene kits for homeless veterans on campus
  • Organized Charity Fashion Show alongside Counseling and Mental Health Center titled We Own The Night – attended by over 100 people and raised over $1500 for survivors of relationship and interpersonal violence
  • Received Distinguished Status by completing criteria in the core value category of Individual Opportunity and won a drawing for $200 based on our accomplishments, awarded by the University Dean of Students
Fall 2016
  • Raised over $5,000 for Humanity First USA Chiapas Clinic

  • Collected over 300 Blankets/raised over $780!

  • Volunteered at Rehab Facility for Elderly

  • Made sandwiches and soup for over 200 homeless people

  • Made care packages and hygiene kits for homeless in Central Texas

  • Volunteered over 500 hours collectively

  • Held charity dinner for Chiapas Clinic raising over $2,000

  • Won Humanity First USA national video contest

Spring 2017
  • Prepared over 100 care packages for the homeless 
  • Helped prepare for 9,000 meals through volunteering at the Central Texas Food Bank
  • Volunteered at local Warrior Dash with over 30 members to raise $1,000 for Gift of Health Trip
  • Traveled to Chiapas, Mexico with Humanity First USA and 18 Humanity First UT Austin volunteers for inaugural women and children’s health camp and school renovatio project during Spring Break
  • Raised over $20,000 for Chiapas Gift of Health trip and will make an annual initiative
  • Held picnic for refugee families and children 
  • Volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Georgetown, TX to reconstruct and renovate house
  • Held first Annual Volunteer Appreciation Banquet (Year-End Banquet), recognizing volunteers through stoles, plaques, and cords
  • Held “End the Silence, Stop the Violence” Awareness and fundraising event in support of UT’s Counseling and Mental Health Center and programs for survivors of relationship and sexual violence
  • Awarded President’s Volunteer Service Award for volunteering over 1,000 hours for the ’16-’17 school year, recognized at the 2017 University Tower Awards
  • Awarded “Best Service Project of the Year” for 2017 Gift of Health – Chiapas Project, recognized at 2017 University Tower Awards
  • Surpassed over 130 paid members
